METRO YOUTH FOOTBALL SPORTS COMPLEX

In 1979 Terry Bjornsen donated the 27 acres of land that now comprise the MYFA Sports Complex. Three years would pass before the first games were played as dedicated volunteers and community supporters transformed the land into three useable football fields. In subsequent years volunteers have constructed scorekeeper towers, a concession stand, the equipment building, a picnic pavilion and a storage garage.

Still more volunteers have planted trees and shrubs and maintained the facility making the MYFA Sports Complex the premiere youth sports facility of eastern Iowa.
