METRO YOUTH FOOTBALL TEAMS

Metro Youth Football offers flag football and tackle football programs to over 2,000 children annually. The flag program is comprised of a first/second grade divisions and a third/fourth grade division. Flag participants play a six game season in April and May. The tackle program is consists of three divisions divided by grade within which 48 teams play a 6 game season in early fall of each year.

The tackle divisions are:

4th Grade Division: Consisting of 16 teams

5th Grade Division: Consisting of 18 teams

6th Grade Division: Consisting of 20 teams.

Additional Teams May Be Added As Needed

Players are assigned to teams based on their grade, the school that they attend, the high school that they will attend and order of registration. All players must weigh-in and provide proof grade to complete their registration.

Games are played on Sunday afternoons and Monday evenings at the MYFA Sports Complex. Practice schedules are dictated by both the league and individual coaches.
